We are two locals who take pleasure in sharing our little paradise with visitors from around the world. We stand for fostering interactions between visitors and locals, with the aim of introducing you to Zeeland authentically.
Our estate is nestled in the heart of the Zeeuwse countryside and is just a 6-minute bike ride away from the beach. Our expansive garden, teeming with stunning natural beauty, is also home to free-roaming chickens, which is why we kindly request that you do not bring dogs. Furthermore, donkeys, horses, and sheep are our companions, and you will likely be welcomed by our fluffy (and very lovely) dogs upon your arrival.
You will be lodging in premium sheperd huts adorned with traditional Dutch (Swiebertje) or British (Windsor) décor. Additionally, a typical Texan log cabin equipped with a shower, porch, and a fire pit will be at your disposal for shared use.

What to expect
At one of the most idyllic places on the Island Walcheren (Zeeland) you will find this lovely Shepherd’s Hut, hidden in green landscape for optimal privacy, rest and peace, and yet all comfort is present. The Hut is situated very close to the beach and you can even sea the tall ships when the tide is in.
Waking up at the old-fashioned sound of a cockerel, farm fresh eggs at breakfast, a nosy donkey staring at you, little rabbits jumping around, real silence in which you can enjoy the dawn chorus of the many birds, the sound of a barn owl and frogs at night, a hedgehog pottering around, even deer come around regularly.
View on the dunes, the beach and the sea at walking distance (1 mile) and at night you might hear the humming sound of a ship peaceful passing by. You will stay in very exclusive and small-scaled surroundings, part of a small, listed farm dating from the 17 th Century. A resting place to recover totally from hectic daily life. A place you feel at home immediately, back to the roots. All ingredients therefore are present. You will find yourself in the middle of a lovely meadow to be shared with a medlar tree, some old fruit trees and a very small organic vineyard.
